Saturday Bear Academy is wonderful program that allows your child to make up a full day absence by participating in engaging activities, such as P.E., music, art, reading, math, technology, and other academic subjects.
The Bear Academy program will offer a meal to students. If your child is currently eligible for free or reduced meals under NSLP, your pre-ordered meal for the Bear Academy session will be charged accordingly. For those that do not receive this benefit, the normal cost of the mea will apply. This will be deducted rom you Food account (no cash will be accepted). If you do not pre-order a meal, please send a meal with your student. If you do order a meal, your meal will be ordered and charged accordingly, regardless of student attendance.
No transportation will be provided.
Spots are limited, so a request must be made to the attendance office by the Tuesday before the Academy.
Hours are from 8:30am – 12:30pm, on select Saturdays. Students must be picked up by 12:45pm.
